Our Story
From one idea to a growing movement
Manos for Homes was founded by Simon Aljure-Jauregui with a conviction that no family should live without a safe place to call home. What began as one project has grown into a foundation that builds homes for families in need in Colombia, organizes community events in Miami, and partners with companies and foundations in both the United States and Colombia.
We are a young organization with hands-on roots: our team plans, fundraises, and shows up on the ground. Every dollar we raise moves us closer to the next build — and every build changes a family's life for good.
